It is intended to be used for advanced video editing and file format conversion. The second group of apps includes Nero Video, Nero Recode and Creative Content. The last item in the first list allows you to play Blu-ray discs and provides you with several additional features, which is great. This tool will automatically scan your PC for media files when you launch it for the first time.
There is a built-in player which can be used for previewing any selected file. The first one gives you the power to access, synchronize and stream all your media files and images as well. The first group has a title named “ Manage and Play” and has three components: Nero MediaHome, Nero MediaBrowser and Nero Blu-ray Player. All programs included in the suite are grouped in four columns and are colored based on their functions. The home screen, also called Welcome screen, reminds us of the new Windows Metro interface. Nero 2014 extends this line and you can convince yourself of that at first sight. One of the things that Nero keeps a good reputation with, is its interface. Indeed, you can use Nero for small day-to-day projects or for complicated tasks, like mind-taking slideshows, titles with backgrounds, printed calendars and postcards, extensive audio and video conversion and more.
The system requirements for most Nero products are medium to high, but this can be expected, because of their nature and functions. They are fully functional and are not limited in any way. Both can be downloaded and evaluated using their 15-day trial versions. This nice suite of tools and programs is the first of two products of the same line, the second one of which is called Platinum.
